Without and Within
I find it interesting that the same anti-American scumbags that will publish the newly released Abu Ghraib photographs are the same anti-American scumbags that claim it is inappropriate to show images of 9/11.
Images of our own innocent countrymen being slaughtered at the hands of murderous Islamic pigs is considered out of bounds but images of a few (and I stress FEW) renegade miscreants in our military putting panties on the heads of murderous Islamic pigs is front page material.

9/11 footage would enrage and motivate the American people and serve as a reminder and a justification of our efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Abu Ghraib footage serves as recruiting material for terrorists. Is there any question whose side they're on?
The bottom line, and what the left will never accept or understand, is that some problems demand violence as the only solution. In their utter disregard for this blatant fact of human nature and in their desperate quest for relevance they continually undermine the efforts of our brave fighting men and women and put millions of American people in peril.
We're fighting a war on two fronts. The Islamic fundamentalists must be exterminated. At the same time, the ignorant in our society must be educated about the fierce liberal media bias. The targets without and within must be addressed and eradicated.

Random Thought For Today

Either John McCain is a press loving camera hog that will go to any length to get his mug on television or he's a jock sniffer.
Fox News reports, you decide...

Observations on Race
Welfare is a covert poverty protection program (PPP) for the Democratic Party. They champion themselves as the party that sticks up for poor minorities but all they really do is pay them to stay uneducated, unemployed and unnecessary for progress. Then they blast their “get out and vote” propaganda and bus them in droves to vote (registered or not) for the Democrat candidate.
Louis Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and others are embroiled in an increasingly neurotic effort to preserve their own relevance. So called civil rights leaders are unnecessary in a society in which racial intolerance is largely a thing of the past. There is no doubt that racism exists but the fact that its origins reside in all corners of our society, affecting all races, is the dirty little secret that these phonies would rather you didn’t know. Their pertinence depends on the perceived victimization of the uneducated and impressionable.
Big media outlets are concerned with selling themselves first and reporting the news later. They make money from advertisers who are willing to pay top dollar to any media outlet that can produce something that people will pay attention to. People pay attention to things that either turn them on or piss them off. Is it surprising that the media spotlights the kooks that fuel the flames of racism but passes over the moderates that call for self reflection? Self accountability is not a popular concept amidst a culture conditioned to subsist on government handouts and it certainly doesn’t inflame hatred and class struggle like a good beating. Racism sells.

Dems - Dumb, Helpless And Caring
MaxedOutMomma kickin it with a tasty groove. Great points and very well written. My hat is off. Go get some...
What the Democratic national leadership seems to have crafted is a message that they are the plucky, bighearted, but hopelessly outclassed junior league team of American politics. This is not a winning message. The only way you can win with the message of "heart" is to have concrete plans to solve real (not media-created) problems. If this theme were put on a bumpersticker, it would read "Dems - Dumb, Helpless And Caring".In the Katrina disaster they were reduced to claiming that the local (Democratic) leadership was clearly incompetent so the Republican President should have invaded Louisiania. Don't they realize the logical conclusion? Don't they realize the net effect of all these video bites? Dems - blubbering, despairing people helpless in the face of adversity. FEMA - putting Katrina volunteers through a week of political correctness programs. Don't they see the net effect is to rebut the message of all these special interest groups? That the hysterical, whining women's rightists appear to be a block to progress rather than a move forward?
Don't they see that the American public is going to look at all of this determined irrelevance and reject it in favor of the theory that you ought to just do something, dammit?

Under God

There are certain fundamental freedoms that the American voter simply will not relinquish. So the liberals take legal action again and again until they find a judge that agrees with their agenda and attempts to force legislation from the bench. They are anti-American to their core and they will never stop undermining the foundations of the greatest, most compassionate civilization the world has ever known. They will stop at nothing.
The majority of the people of the United States believe in freedom as the solution to the human condition. These people can only be pushed so far. At some point, they will abandon their trust in government and take up arms to preserve the fundamental freedoms bestowed upon them by their divine creator. Protection from tyranny is precisely the reason our founding fathers gave us the right to bear arms.
Prayer, marriage, abortion, euthanasia, self defense, American sovereignty, private property, truth in media, free speech, true equality under the law, entitlement programs, the madness goes on and on. Real Americans are getting backed further and further into the corner. At some point they’re going to realize that the needs and wants of the few are infringing on the needs and wants of the many. It’s only a matter of time before individuals begin to spring up with enough audacity to start drawing lines in the sand outside of the shadows of big government. A few charismatic leaders unafraid to speak their mind would garnish the support of millions. There are an awful lot of Americans out there that are sick of people on the left like Michael Newdow and U.S. District Judge Lawrence Karlton twisting the machinations of government to suit their wants. When these people get fed up, Mr. Newdow and Judge Karlton are going to wish they still had the right to pray in public because God will be the only one left to save them.

Boobs for Beads
New Orleans Mayor Nagin claims that the city is bankrupt and unable to meet payroll. My question, who’s footing the bill for all of those trips to Las Vegas that he promised to emergency personnel?
I guess New Orleans is a “party town”, I should just “get over it”. Besides, “I'm tired of hearing these helicopters. I want to hear some jazz."
The town that considers boobs for beads "culture" calls this guy "Mr. Mayor". Go figure...

Shotgun Sam
According to Drudge:
"Sean Penn stuns fans as he is pictured in NY POST roaming the streets of hurricane hit New Orleans -- armed with a shotgun!"

Way to go Penn, nothing pisses off your kind of people quite like self defense. Have you tried reasoning with the individuals who are threatening you? How about having a reasonable discussion so you can *understand* their needs and point of view? Would you be carrying a shotgun in a WHITE neighborhood Mr. Penn? Sounds like someone needs sensitivity counseling...

NFL Pregame
Just as Super Bowl halftime shows have reached a crescendo of ludicrousness and excess, we are now being served with opening night kickoff extravaganzas. I understand that the NFL is just trying to promote their sport but are they going so far in their promotion that they’re alienating their bread and butter clientele? I’m as hardcore as they come and I simply cannot watch the Super Bowl halftime “celebrations”. On about two occasions last night I watched just enough of the NFL’s kickoff extravaganza to take note of the fact that it was still dragging on before I hit the “Last” button on the remote to get back to the ESPN pre-game show. I engaged in this activity until I noticed that ESPN had conveniently placed a countdown to kickoff clock on their broadcast for people like me who would prefer the inane ramblings of ex-football players to over the hill British rock star heroine addicts any day of the week. I want football statistics, football player interviews, football cheerleaders, football highlights etc, etc, etc… The National Football League is already, by far, the most popular spectator sport in the United States, who are they attempting to promote it to and who are they alienating in the process?
Will all of the hubbub force me away from the game? Probably not… At least not as long as there are alternative pre-game shows to watch in order to avoid the lunacy. However, I just can’t shake the feeling that we’ve let one slip away from us here. Why sacrifice the integrity of the sport? Why dumb down the experience for those that have supported, and would surely be willing to continue to support, the NFL and its rich traditions? Celine Dion? For the love of God, how about a good local New England area high school marching band plays the national anthem? Then we have a coin toss, we kick the damn ball, and we have us a football game eh?

The Two Problems Made Obvious By Katrina
It’s not like we needed a category 4 storm and the resulting death of thousands to point these issues out but Katrina created some mighty fine examples that I felt needed to be highlighted.
Problem 1:
Without question, it has been the practice of the Democratic Party, for the last forty years, to prey upon the insecurities of the ignorant. Minorities, labor parties, environmentalists, all have been duped into believing that the Democratic Party parleys in their favor. Following Hurricane Katrina, for all intensive purposes, we should all be celebrating the end of the Democratic Party as we know it. It has exposed the product of forty years of democratic programs. Government dependency, class envy, lawlessness, and ignorance are on display for the country and the rest of the world to see. It is this culture of entitlement that was birthed by the welfare policies of the Democratic Party that so freely accepts and trumpets the ridiculous politicking of the loony left. The events of the past few weeks have made obvious what most conservatives know but are too afraid to say. Democrats depend on the poor and uneducated created by their system of entitlement policies and public education because those are the people that are the easiest to sway. They are easily assured of blame where blame does not exist. They are easily motivated with cheap political tricks and race baiting. They are easily aroused to anger and envy. The Democratic Party preys on minorities and the poor and uses them to feed their continuous cycle of self perpetuation.
Problem 2:
Nobody in the Republican Party, the conservative party of choice at the present, has the fortitude to stand up and state the facts in Problem 1. Without exception, all modern politicians place their careers and their legacies before their constituents. I want conservative leadership that is willing to drop the gloves and brawl with the left. Someone needs to quit with the “nice nice” and tell it like it really is. The Democrats will never decide to play nice and work together. They’re animals bent on murder (abortion and euthanasia), self perpetuation (welfare state and taxation), and the end of America as we know it (support of globalism, environmentalism, and big government). They’re shameless and ruthless. Their chief political tactic is to throw as many ridiculous, baseless claims at the media as possible to see which ones the media can get the ever dependable minorities, poor, and anti-American moonbats to accept as fact. All the while, the Republican Party stands by and murmurs their disapproval and patiently states facts and argues points with those that will never accept fact or see the other side to a debate. It’s maddening and the silent MAJORITY in this country deserves someone that will get angry once in awhile. It’s time we had a real conservative voice that won’t hesitate to point out that the city of New Orleans has a sleazy mayor with the rhetorical skills of a street panhandler that utterly failed in his responsibilities and is nothing short of criminally negligent. We need a conservative voice that reacts to uncorroborated attacks on the Republican President by pointing out the groundlessness of those attacks along with the obvious failings of the Democratic state governor responsible for the deaths of thousands. Instead, we’ll get a bunch of spineless boobs that will kowtow to the screeching of the Democrats and agree to a “non-partisan” investigation that will result in blaming everybody and nobody simultaneously. We deserve conservative leadership that will refuse to circle the wagons with the enemy in times of trouble and tell the bloody truth. Conservatives deserve real representation.
