November 18, 2005

Desperate for relief from the mainstream media propaganda machine I, like so many of my conservative brethren, find my car radio dial endlessly tuned to talk radio. 104.7 FM in Pittsburgh has become a veritable oasis in the vast political hopelessness that is the State of Pennsylvania. They carry the usual staples, Rush, Beck, Savage etc… On my morning commute I usually shuffle between AM ESPN radio and the Quinn and Rose in the Morning Show on the FM talky. Although sometimes a little rant happy, Jim Quinn is usually right on the mark with his political commentary. He has a self titled list of rules to live by which he calls, “Quinn’s Laws” which I searched for but was unable to uncover on the show’s website. I am paraphrasing, but one of Quinn’s Laws states that liberals always blame conservatives for doing whatever it is that liberals are doing, have done, or are planning to do. This morning he claimed that this was evident during Harry Reid’s statement about Cheney and Bush using their stance on the war for political gain (again paraphrasing). For this, I again raise my glass to him. However, this morning, as I was standing in the shower, I had a moment of panic as I thought about Quinn’s law of liberal blame tactics. For the last five years, we have been subject to the mad raving of Al Gore, Howard Dean, and the finger pointing fringe of the howling left (subsequently reported on and inappropriately maintained by the lefty news media) that George Bush stole the election in 2000 and then stole it again in 2004. Now I’m not going to go into a discussion about the facts in this debate, it has been overdone as it is. I will mention that I think the best commentary on the matter can be found in Mark Levin’s brilliant book, Men in Black. It should be mandatory reading in all schools and coffee shops across the country. But I digress… In looking at the typical liberal tactic of blaming conservatives for doing whatever liberals are doing, have done, or plan on doing it occurred to me that the democrats have been laying the groundwork for five years leading up to the 2008 election. Having planted the seed of a stolen election in the minds of the American media and populace, the democrats have placed themselves in a position to be able to do absolutely anything necessary to win the presidential election in 2008. They’ve created a no-holds barred scenario and the media will dutifully and quietly justify any and all attempts by the democrats to regain the presidency and smugly discredit claims of foul play by republicans. It plays right into their very nature as they never rely on facts and common sense in their brand of politics, only misrepresentation of facts to sway emotions and sympathy. I can already see Couric, Mathews, et al grimacing and looking incredulous at the mention of democratic voting fraud. After all, George Bush and his cronies stole the 2000 and 2004 elections.

It is undeniable that most, if not all, real verifiable instances of culpable voter fraud that occurred in the 2000 and 2004 election cycle occurred in predominately democratic regions where republicans didn’t stand a chance of winning even with an extra couple thousand votes. I have yet to hear of a single instance in which voter fraud occurred that tipped the balance in republican’s favor. If there was even a hint of such an instance, the media would have ridden that horse until it was dead.

The democrat’s messiah is readying herself for 2008. They will have their power back and they will stop at nothing. Jim Quinn, the outspoken radio DJ in Pittsburgh has it right when he says liberals always blame conservatives for doing whatever it is that liberals are doing, have done, or are planning to do. There’s no doubt that Hillary Clinton is running in 2008 and, according to liberals, George Bush stole the election in 2000 and again in 2004. Folks, it’s time to lock and load.
