Jim Webb Threatens to 'Slug' President Bush

Newly elected Democrat Senator Jim Webb attended a private reception hosted by President Bush at the White House for new lawmakers shortly after the election. Senator Webb presently has a son serving in the Marine Corp as a lance corporal in Iraq. Webb is also very critical of President Bush’s Iraq policy. At the reception, the President inquired about the Senator’s son. Typically of a Democrat, Webb never thought about mentioning his pride in his son’s service. Instead, he told the President that he wanted to see his son brought back home. "I didn’t ask you that, I asked how he’s doing,” Bush countered, angering Webb to the point that he considered punching the President. This brings up a few interesting thoughts which I think the dumb Democrats need to answer. First, was Senator Webb expecting President Bush to sign an executive order to have the Marine Corps send Corporal Webb home immediately? Perhaps he forgot for a minute that President Bush is a Republican, and such things are done by Democrats. If President Bush had said quietly, “Don’t worry, Senator, I’ll take care of that for you…” what do you think the Democrats would have made of that? I will leave that to your imagination. Another point. Charlie Rangel claims, "If a young fellow has an option of having a decent career, or joining the Army to fight in Iraq, you can bet your life that he would not be in Iraq…” OK, Charlie, can you please explain why a Democrat Senator’s son is presently serving in Iraq? Are you saying that it is impossible for a Democrat Senator’s son to acquire a decent career? I think you need to address this, Charlie, me boy. And what about Senator Kerry? Let’s remember his recent slurs against American Marines serving in Iraq.

Senator Kerry, are you accusing the son of Senator Webb of war crimes? He is, after all, an American soldier, or are you going to make exceptions for one of your own? And then there’s this little ditty…

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

I think Senator Webb might consider taking that punch on ol’ Lurch. PSSSSTTT…Senator… Lurch just called your son an imbecile. OK, these two jerks need to explain themselves here. But, then, they are Democrats. Foggy lies and untruths come easy to them. God, I hate those people.

Joe Biden-a Short Rant

Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del, corrupted himself today with a stupid remark. These people are tripping all over themselves to see who can make the most idiotic remark. Biden's entry in the contest is, "I warn all of you, all of you making more than a million bucks - I hope you all are - I'm taking away your tax cut. I'm not joking." Only a Democrat could stress the fact that he's not joking about planning to ruin the greatest economy in the history of the world. There is also the fact that by raising everyone's taxes, the chances of becoming that millionaire have been reduces enormously. What a complete ass. Mr. Biden is under the delusional idea that by revoking tax cuts, he will increase revenue by 75 billion dollars. He wants to use the money to pay for various national security and law enforcement programs presently on a backlog. (I'll bet a dollar no one can explain how a Democrat can make a coherent statement pertaining to either national security or law enforcement!) This is one of the main reasons why I despise Democrats so much. They are as stubborn as their stupid mascot jackass to admit that tax increases stagnate the economy and lead to inflation, less productivity and a decrease of federal revenue. Tax cuts generate wealth, revenue and job creation. But they refuse to acknowledge the truth. Mr. Biden made this stupid remark while in Columbia, SC in an attempt to gain support for his presidential bid. I guess Democrats will always be associated with tax and spend. They cannot help themselves. Let's see if the people of South Carolina have the intelligence to tar and feather Mr. Biden and run him out of their state on a rail. But, that is just my opinion.

Lurch in the Lurch

Quinnipiac University Polling Institute in Hamden, Connecticut, conducted a survey recently, spelling very, VERY bad news for Hanoi's Number One Boy, John Kerry. While he is considering a second run for the White House, he finished dead last (no pun intended) in a poll released on Monday on "the top 20 American political figures." Yes, Lurch finished behind such distinguished figures as Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Newt Gingrich, Mit Romney and Bozo the Clown. "This is bad, bad news for Kerry," said Peter Brown, assistant director of Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. Well, Mr. Brown, it may be bad news for Lurch, but I'd say it was very good news for America. Considering the fact that the average gerbil has twice the mental capacity of Mr. K, it is beyond belief that the state of Massachusetts could elect such a dimwad to represent them in the Senate. (I have always held the belief that the people of Massachusetts took a bet that they couldn't possibly elect a worse Senator than Ted Kennedy, and won.) "Americans know who he is, and have pretty much decided they don't like him," said Brown. Gee, maybe there's still hope for America, after all. In review, let's take a look at some of the better known quotes uttered by Senator Kerry, which have endeared him to America, especially our veterans and war heroes. Yes, folks, these things were spoken by a member of the United States Senate, as impossible as that might seem...

"They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war..."

"We saw America lose her sense of morality as she accepted very coolly a My Lai and refused to give up the image of American soldiers who hand out chocolate bars and chewing gum....We learned the meaning of free fire zones, shooting anything that moves, and we watched while America placed a cheapness on the lives of Orientals.."

"The country doesn't know it yet, but it has created a monster, a monster in the form of millions of men who have been taught to deal and to trade in violence....."

"..there will be some recrimination but far, far less than the 200,000 a year who are murdered by the United States of America....."

"I agree with Sen. Kennedy that we have become the target and part of the problem today, if not the problem."

And as if Lurch's traitorous statements about American soldiers wasn't bad enough, or if the fallout from his stupid remarks didn't teach other Democrats to keep their mouth shut, out comes that most illuminated of the Left, Charlie Rangel of New York ( naturally), who makes his own stupid comment on the intelligence of our military personnel. According to Rangel, "If a young fellow has an option of having a decent career, or joining the Army to fight in Iraq, you can bet your life that he would not be in Iraq. If there's anyone who believes these youngsters want to fight, as the Pentagon and some generals have said, you can just forget about it. No bright young individual wants to fight just because of a bonus and just because of some educational benefits." The National Commander of the American Legion, Paul A. Morin, wasted no time calling Charlie to task for his goofy remarks. "Our military is the most skilled, best-trained all-volunteer force on the planet," he said, and called on Rangel to apologize for the remarks. While I applaud Commander Morin for his actions, I also don't hold out much hope that an apology is coming any time soon. Rangel, after all, is a Democrat, and as such, things are different. If you wait for a Democrat to apologize, there's a better chance that their stupid donkey mascot will make a cogent remark. Commander Morin also said, "These brave men and women lay it on the line every day for each and every one of us, for which I am very grateful. Their selfless commitment for the betterment of our world from radical extremists is beyond commendable. It's time for members of Congress to stop insulting our troops. While the American Legion shares the congressman's appreciation for education, the troops in Iraq represent the most sophisticated, technologically superior military that the world has ever seen," Morin said. "I call on Congressman Rangel to not only apologize to our troops but to also fight for pay increases and make significant improvements to the current GI Bill -- reserves and guard included, as he prepares for a party chairmanship in the 110th Congress." I don't see how you can add anything to that! It's time for these morons, called Democrats, to stop their coordinated attacks against our armed services. It's called "aiding and abetting" our enemies, although they just want to play huggykissy with the terrorists. But, that's just my opinion.

News Report from today: A recent report from Britain's Sir Nicholas Stern warned of the devastating economic effects global warming could have on the world in coming years. But a British researcher has added his voice to those bemoaning the "hysteria" over manmade global warming that is distorting the truth. Stern - former chief economist at the World Bank - cautioned that if greenhouse gas emissions weren't significantly reduced, by 2050 the global economy would shrink by up to 20 percent, millions of people would be permanently displaced and droughts would plague the earth. Now journalist Christopher Monckton, who was a policy adviser to Margaret Thatcher, has published a detailed report attacking the manmade global warming theory from various angles - including the so-called "medieval warm period." The United Nations, which has issued a widely quoted report on global warming, "abolished the medieval warm period - the global warming at the end of the First Millennium A.D.," according to Monckton. A U.N. report in 1996 "showed a 1,000-year graph demonstrating that temperature in the Middle Ages was warmer than today," Monckton writes in Britain's Sunday Telegraph. "But the 2001 report contained a new graph showing no medieval warm period. It wrongly concluded that the 20th century was the warmest for 1,000 years . . .

This is another example of Liberalism at work. If the facts don't prove the desired conclusion, that's really not a problem. You just alter the facts to make them prove your point. People, America needs to wake up to the fact that you are lied to every day, and so are your children. Looney Liberals are determined to change the world in which we live, and they expect us to stand by and let them do it. The first order of business, which has been in effect for over 30 years now, is to turn our own children into puppets who will embrace their beliefs and spout their idiocy. School children cannot pray to Jesus, but they can bow to Mecca. They cannot recite the pledge of allegiance to the flag, but they can learn about socialism in Cuba. School children as young as 5 or 6 years old are introduced to subjects concerning transvestites and homosexuality, and told abortion is a "choice" and not murder. Global warming is a tool used to destroy American industry and America's economy. It forces American industry to invest huge sums of money to clean up non existent disasters, and to prevent non existent dangers. It is a scientific given that the earth experienced a warm period during medieval times that does not jibe with environmentalist plans, so we just ignore it. The truth is, this warm period produced a worldwide climate up to 5 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than present conditions. The tropical Andes contained no glaciers which exist today. Vikings farmed fields in Greenland which are now under permafrost. There was very little ice at the North Pole, because a Chinese naval squadron sailed right around the Arctic in the year 1421 and found no ice. The Antarctic has cooled and gained ice-mass in the past 30 years, and the oceans have cooled sharply just over the past two years. It is estimated that global temperatures will rise between .18 to 2.5 degrees over the next century, "well within the medieval temperature range," claims Christopher Monckton. Mr. Monckton has published a detailed report debunking the manmade global warming crisis. He maintains, along with many other highly regarded scientists, that global warming should be blamed on the sun. Mr. Monckton cites a scientist who claims the sun has been warmer for a longer period of time for the past 50 years than at any time over the past 11,400 years. Mr. Monckton reaches the conclusion, "Politicians, scientists and bureaucrats contrived a threat of Biblical floods, droughts, plagues, and extinctions worthier of St. John the Divine than of science. Al Gore, please note." America is under a vicious attack to destroy our ability to lead the world as a free nation. Our enemies want us to become subservient to the U.N. and forfeit our sovereignty. Too many Americans are ignorant to the attack, or have no interest due to their ignorance to what is happening and what affect it will have on their existence. We need a new population of American patriots who are willing to stand up to this onslaught presently designed to destroy our way of life. But that is just my opinion.

Giving Thanks

Just thinking while beginning the Thanksgiving Day festivity preparations…

In 1991 during the first few hours of our incursion into Iraq, the press went on and on about the thousands of American fatalities that would certainly result from a war being waged in an unfamiliar desert setting. We were, after all, fighting a war in a foreign land against an enemy seasoned to the environment and used to desert fighting. Our servicemen then proceeded to utilize their superior training, armament, and strategy to whoop some tail.

Undaunted, the liberal media then went on to explain that US troops were simply facing the inferior Iraqi army who were ill equipped and, in some cases, starving on the battle field. The real hostilities and resulting American casualties would begin once our troops squared off with the specially trained Iraqi Republican Guard. Our servicemen then proceeded to utilize their superior training, armament, and strategy to whoop some tail. In most cases, this fearsome band of warriors either fled the battlefield or surrendered to US troops without a fight.

Unfazed in their endless pursuit of anti-American and anti-military propaganda, our ever informative mainstream media then went on to explain that our overwhelming military success was no real surprise, after all, what chance did a bunch of poor, starving peasants have against the might of the American military? Iraqis were just poor, haggard, simple people whose throats had been under the boot heels of a vicious dictator for so long they had neither the will nor the ability to fight.

Let’s fast forward now to 2003. From the very beginning of our military’s second incursion into Iraq, the media carped about the thousands of American casualties that would certainly result from ground troops and street fighting in places like Baghdad and Fallujah. Our servicemen then proceeded to utilize their superior training, armament, and strategy to whoop some tail. The American casualties resulting from the dismantling of a hostile regime and subsequent terrorist insurgency have been amazingly few. This is not to belittle the sacrifice of those who lost their lives. Historically speaking, the loss of American lives in Iraq dims in comparison to past conflicts. Incredibly, one could argue that the terrorist insurgency now so publicized in Iraq by our darling media is driven daily by the anti-American and anti-military propaganda pumped over our airwaves by that same American media.

How do the American media respond to the situation? Again, undaunted, they claim that the same peasant population whose spirit was crushed by the viciousness of a brutal dictator in 1991 was better off under Saddam Hussein than they are now under a free democratic Iraqi government.

It stands to reason that the mainstream media loves American Military casualties and simply cannot wait to wring their hands and stand by with great consternation during the buildup period of any American military action. The only thing they love more than American Military casualties is poor foreign peasant casualties resulting from American military action which they continue to “estimate” in the hundreds of thousands since the beginning of the second war in Iraq.

So, during this years Thanksgiving Day celebration, please remember our wonderful servicemen. Who, in the face of endless criticism and commentary by our mainstream media detrimental to their mission and very survival, continue to succeed where the media continually attempts to construct failure. Say a prayer for our men and women in uniform and give thanks. Someone has to…

The Truth About Barack Obama

A new politician has recently been swept onto the national stage of politics, hailed by Democrats as a rising star. Democrats are expecting great things from Barack Obama, and he has already expressed an interest in running for the office of President of the United States. Obama is presently working very hard to pass himself off as a conservative type of person, going so far as to align himself with a well-known Christian pastor and author, Rick Warren, senior teaching pastor at Saddleback Church in California. Warren is well known for his best selling book, "The Purpose Driven Life." Obama has been invited to speak to his congregation. The purpose of writing this article is to prove a point. Democrats know that they cannot win elections if they stand on their true beliefs. If they were to do so, they would never win an election. So, they have to lie and deceive the voters. In this case, the lie and deceit is especially despicable, because he is using the pulpit of a Christian church in an attempt to pass himself off as something he is not...an upright and decent human being. I do not intend to go into Pastor Warren's motives nor do I wish to comment on his church or faith. I only wish to use this example to show how a Democrat will use any means and will go to any lengths and tell any lie in order to get elected. The term "Christian" has been bandied about in recent years and very few people actually consider what the term means. Many people call themselves Christian but they do not embrace the values of a real Christian. If Christianity fits ones lifestyle, then it's fine. But if religion points to sin in one's life, well, that's different. Then the Church needs to become more "progressive" and "enlightened" and change the meaning of the sin. This applies to such things as adultery, abortion, gay rights and other "modern" advancements into a new and more civilized world. Enter Mr. Obama, who wishes to pass himself off as a true "Christian." Obama has one problem, though. He has a long history of defying the morality as taught in scripture. This does not stop him from taking a pulpit and lying about it. As a state legislator, he actively worked to preserve the right for a woman to have an abortion in all nine months of pregnancy. He also opposed parental notification. He opposed all bans on partial birth abortion, which is probably the most obscene medical procedure since the German medical experiments of World War II. During his run for the U.S. Senate, Obama asked his wife to write a letter to Illinois voters to show his commitment to fighting for all abortion rights for any woman who wished to murder her unborn child. He also supports the advance of radical homosexual issues and rights. He wants special rights for practicing homosexuals to allow them to receive preferential treatment on issues of employment, housing and litigation. He adamantly endorses any legislation which advances "hate crime" convictions which ultimately will be used to silence the clergy he is using so deceitfully today. He also has a perfect voting record against defense of marriage. He works to continue funding Planned Parenthood. All these things are abominable, but they don't scratch the surface of his most detestable action. A brave nurse named Jill Stanek worked in a hospital in suburban Chicago. Ms. Stanek committed the heinous crime of attempting to save the lives of newborn babies who survived abortion. These babies were known as "born alive abortions." Obama opposed her actions, and demanded that the hospital had to allow the small babies to starve to death instead of being cared for. I don't care if you are a Christian or not, such behavior should be completely repulsive to you, if you have a shred of human decency. How any person, regardless of race or any other classification, could allow a newborn child to starve to death, especially after being subjected to a murder attempt, goes beyond the bounds of reality. But this is typical behavior of Democrats, especially Liberal Democrats. This is the kind of crud America put back in control in Washington, and there is no excuse for it. Expect things to get much worse after January first. This article and others like it are my attempt to prove before the fact just what is going to happen if we allow these cretins to remain in power. But, this is just my opinion.

Take Out Iran's Nuclear Capability NOW

After much thought, I have reached the conclusion that it is a necessity to take out Iran's nuclear facilities within the next 12 months if they do not agree to dismantle them, verifiable by American nuclear specialists. I say American, because the United Nations is irresponsible and biased against the United States, and quite frankly, I do not like them nor do I trust them. I have reached this decision based heavily upon the words spoken by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: "Thanks to the blood of the martyrs, a new Islamic revolution has arisen.... The era of oppression, hegemonic regimes and tyranny and injustice has reached its end.... The wave of the Islamic revolution will soon reach the entire world." Does anyone in their right mind think that sanctions or bribery will replace this vision of religious superiority? If sanctions or idle threats are pointless, our remaining options are limited. The overthrow of the current leadership may be a possibility, but with such statements as quoted above, the general populace will be enamored the way Germany was in the early 1930's. The prospect of global domination is a powerful thing which not many people can decline. We are left with just two remaining possibilities. We can allow Iran to become a member of the nuclear community, or we can take steps to prevent it. Ted Keppel, former talking head of ABC, vocalized the opinion held by most members of the media and kooky Hollywood, saying, "if Iran is bound and determined to have nuclear weapons, let it." Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) has worked for the past 50 years, the theory goes, in deterring the Soviet Union and China, so it should work equally well against Iran. The spread of nuclear weapons is inevitable, so we need to learn how to live with it. But an Iranian bomb would spell a dire threat to Israel's population of close to 7 million people. While Israel would have the capability to strike back, the sad fact is that just one nuclear strike would totally destroy Israel, and their response would only damage Iran. And, if Iran possessed a bomb, that fact alone would have enormous consequences. The Moslem world views Iran as the archenemy of the United States and Israel. Iran's possession of nukes would unite the Arab world and intimidate their neighbors. The U.S. would enter a new era of "cold war" with the Arab nations, in a standoff using MAD as the grand peacekeeper. Iran might seem a little match for the U.S., but Iran considers itself the victor of one superpower, the Soviet Union, and will also be the enslaver of the U.S. Looking again to history, many things need to be remembered. In 1917, Russia was backward and poor when Lenin came to power, as was Germany in 1933 when Hitler entered the stage of world history. Neither was able to defeat America, but each of them unleashed unimaginable suffering and cost before their demise. Iran has a couple of advantages going for them that Hitler and Lenin didn‘t enjoy...a billion plus Muslim population, and control of a large percentage of the world‘s oil. Also, Hitler and Lenin had every intention of surviving the war. Akmadidiot has no such weakness. He is, after all, on his way to enjoy several hundred hairy Iranian women in need of a good bath, and becoming Allah’s tool to eliminate Christianity from the world. If Tehran achieves dominance in the Middle East, the battlefield could easily move to Southeast Asia or Africa, or even Europe, as the mullahs extend their influence. In the end, Western civilization will probably win, but the cost would be hellish. And, victory is far from certain, as seen in the comparably small conflict presently raging in Iraq. Given Democrat's aversion to anything remotely associated with victory, the fact that Iran would threaten Israel or our own country gives me little confidence that the Democrats would be anything but a hindrance in overcoming the Muslim world. The only way we can avoid all these threats is the use of force by conducting an air campaign to take out all of Iran's nuclear facilities. These targets total approximately 1500 locations. A bombing campaign could last up to a couple of weeks, and would seriously set back their efforts to obtain nuclear capability. The big question is, can President Bush take such action? The answer is not easy. If Ackmadidiot gets his hands on a nuke, everything up to that point in the war on terror would be rendered useless. We would be a lot less safe than we were under that dregs of human debris, Bill Clinton. Also, such an air war would increase the world's anti-American view. But, that is the price we would have to pay to eliminate such a huge threat to world peace. Besides, 90% of the world is already anti-American, so I don't really see what difference it would make. Prayers from the Heathen Left

Harry "Ratface" Reid says the Democrats will reach out to the Republicans on issues ranging from Iraq to the economy. "On Iraq, and elsewhere, Democrats pray the president will work with us, because we're ready to work with him," Reid said. Ratface wants the Republicans to help him raise the minimum wage, provide tax relief for working families, cut the cost of health care and make college more affordable. He also wants to expand stem-cell research, make changes in the Medicare drug benefit program and allow the government to negotiate lower drug prices. Coming from a Liberal Democrat, these talking points need interpretation:
MINIMUM WAGE: This is a standard Democrat demand. It leads to class warfare in America, and makes the less fortunate more dependent on the government for their weekly needs.
CUT COST OF HEALTH CARE: Democrats will always want to control the health care of this country. Health care has already been socialized in most of Europe and Canada, and the results have been a very poor standard of health care that no one can afford. Even minor procedures are scheduled far into the future.
TAX RELIEF FOR WORKING FAMILIES: This is just another ploy to further punish business and the job providers of America. This is better known as "the wealthy paying their fair share." It is a well-known fact that the working families are already being taxed at a very low rate compared to the "wealthy," who shoulder an unfair portion of the tax burden.
EXPAND STEM-CELL RESEARCH: Embryonic stem-cell research has never cured anything, and it never will. It is embraced by Democrats because it coincides with abortion, and if you can make people accept embryonic stem-cell research, it makes it a lot easier to get them to accept abortion, too.
Can you see the pattern here? The Democrats cloak these issues under the false claim of "working with Republicans" and "reaching out to Republicans" while they ram their demands down our throats. Every one of these issues are exactly 180 degrees away from what Republicans stand for, and it is an attempt by the Democrats to make Republicans abandon their core beliefs. Of course, if the Republicans stand up to this attack and refuse to abandon their core beliefs, the Democrats will start screaming about offering the hand of peace and reconciliation, but the stubborn Republicans refused to cooperate. Cooperation to a Democrat equates to caving in completely and letting them have their way. I am afraid that the majority of Republicans will cave, because the number one most important thing to any politician in Washington is getting re-elected, constituents-be-damned. The next few months in Washington politics promises to be interesting. Let's see if Republicans will stand firm on their core beliefs of small government and low taxes or will they cave in order to appear willing to "cooperate" with Democrats. Either way, the Dems will use the outcome for their own political benefit, and smart Americans will be savvy to their plan of attack. Our only hope is that true Reagan Republicans will hold the fort down, and stand up to this sleazy type of coercion. It will be interesting, anyway. Remember, any time you hear a Democrat mention prayer or faith in Jesus, you know their are not being honest. How can they speak about Christian values while removing Christ from Christmas, condoning abortion, endorsing homosexuality, removing God from our money and our pledge of allegiance. Democrats wouldn't be so loathsome if they weren't such adept deceivers. If you doubt this, consider the American economy today. We are enjoying the greatest economy in the history of the world, but you wouldn't know it by the media. You watch what happens after January. President Bush has never received any credit for the robust growth, but the Democrats will be exalted for bringing us back from the edge of doom when in actuality they will be demanding tax increases which will stifle further growth. Mark my words and see if I'm wrong. The next two years will prove to be interesting in that there should be a lot of issues to comment on here on Cocked And Locked, anyway.

Payback…This Time, It’s For Real!

Jack Murtha got his today. I think it's fitting that he was rejected by his crappy party to be Majority leader. He didn't mind being a turncoat to the Marine Corps, and now he knows how it feels to be treated that way. It's too bad he still has a seat in the House, but at least he's not the number two Democrat. Also in the news, James Carville, the man who reminds me of a face lift on ET that went terribly wrong, took a big swipe at Howard "Crazy man" Dean today. Carville likened Dean to Donald Rumsfeld in his level of competence. Dean would not release money in close House races across the country, and Carville thinks the Dems could have achieved a larger majority if Dean hadn't been so stingy with the funds. Carville contends that an additional six million dollars could and should have been spent on the election. He described Dean's leadership as "Rumsfeldian" in its competence. You have to remember, if the Dems don't like you, your last name is transformed into an adjective to describe something loathsome and hateful. This tactic has been used several times in the past. The most notable examples would be "McCarthyism" and to "Bork" someone. Now we have a new term, Rumsfeldian. The only problem is, McCarthy was completely right in his assessment of the Socialists of his day. Today, these same people would be elected the leadership of the Democrat Party. And do you remember Bork? Bork was a good man who made the mistake of attempting to become a Supreme Court Judge with Conservative values. The Democrats would have nothing to do with it, and they treated Judge Bork the same as they would a germ of E. Bola virus. Now, we can add Mr. Rumsfeld to the list. Donald Rumsfeld is a very good man, and has a long list of achievements to qualify him for most any job in Washington. The Dems don't like him because he demanded obedience from the Defense Department, and expected nothing less than victory in Iraq. We all know that the concept of "victory" is as compatible with a Democrat as sunlight is to a vampire. So, we have to victimize Mr. Rumsfeld's name and attempt to exile him into the land of the living dead. To anyone who is even a modest student of history, it should be clear that there is a clear and ominous movement in America today, orchestrated by Democrats and their moonbat base, to overthrow the government of the United States and allow the world to incorporate the United States into a one world government. Our nation is beset with groups whose ideas are so incredibly STUPID that anyone with an ounce of intelligence should be able to call them idiotic. Among this group of imbecilic organizations you could include, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, North American Man Boy Love Association, the American Civil Liberties Union, all the gay rights groups, all the abortion rights groups, all the environmental wacko groups, all the separation of church and state groups, the goofy "religions" such as Scientology, and all of Hollywood. If you took all these groups, melted them into one steamy pile of excrement, and separated out the intelligence and patriotism, you would need an eyedropper. But, that is just my opinion.

PS A Fun Item…Leonid Meteor Shower
This weekend marks the return of the Leonid meteor shower, and astronomers are predicting an especially strong outburst of meteorites this year. There could be as many as 150 shooting stars per hour, which is pretty neat. The shower will be more dramatic for people on the east coast than for the west coast, but they are mostly liberals, anyway. The best time for viewing will be around 11:45 pm Saturday, November 18 and could last up to two hours. Hope you get a chance to watch the display. It beats sitting in front of the idiot box. But, that's just my opinion.

Ahmadinejad said Tuesday that Iran is ready for better relations with other countries -- with one exception. "We are after positive interaction with the whole world, except a state which we consider its foundation as wrong and do not attach any value to its legitimacy," he said, referring to Israel. Ahmadinejad also said Tuesday he has something to tell the American people. "I will soon send a message to the American people. The message is in the stage of preparation," he said. Without elaborating, he said his message would be in response to U.S. government statements.

Somewhat ominous, I'd say. Another item:

VIENNA, Austria - New traces of plutonium and enriched uranium - potential material for atomic warheads - have been found in a nuclear waste facility in Iran. The Iranian president boasted his country's nuclear fuel program will soon be completed.

The "Religion of Peace" is producing plutonium, which is the trigger material for nuclear weapons. Keep reading, it gets better and better...

Navy officials confirmed yesterday that an aircraft carrier battle group failed to detect a Chinese submarine that surfaced within weapons range of the USS Kitty Hawk. Anti-submarine defenses for the carrier battle group will be reviewed as a result, they said.
"It was not detected," said one Navy official of the encounter with a Chinese diesel-powered attack submarine. "And we're concerned about that, obviously."
The Chinese Song-class attack submarine surfaced near the carrier in deep waters off Okinawa on Oct. 26. It was armed with wake-homing torpedoes and anti-ship cruise missiles.

''''''''''''AN AIRCRAFT CARRIER, for Pete's sake!!!!'''''''''''' Of course, the Navy is embarrassed by the entire ordeal, and is trying to downplay the incident. One official, not identified, said, "We were operating in international waters, and they were operating in international waters. From that standpoint, nobody was endangering anybody. Nobody felt threatened." That is an outright LIE. I served on an aircraft carrier, the U.S.S. Enterprise during the Viet Nam war. Our carrier battle group consisted of numerous ships which surrounded our ship, and no one or no THING was allowed to come within a couple of hundred MILES of the carrier. This lousy little Chinese relic was allowed to come within weapons range and surfaced near the Kitty Hawk. That is not supposed to happen...no how, no way!!! On the ocean, nothing, NOTHING, is allowed to interfere with a carrier battle group. PERIOD. But today, we better get used to this type of behavior. It's the next step up from the U.S.S. Cole, which, if you remember, was almost sunk by terrorists while under the watch of that degenerate Democrat, Bill Clinton. Well, people, you are responsible for putting the Democrats back in charge of our national defense, and this is the kind of defense they are accustomed to providing. Better get used to it. Me, I'll just keep my Winchester close to hand, and God help the dumsonuvabitch who crosses me. I'm cocked and locked.

Anger

Unprovoked acts of violence should stir anger in the hearts of brave men. Given an enemy that hates us, if we are not angered to hate in return, we will be killed. Our collective must hate the enemy if we are to kill the enemy. We must seek to kill our enemy and treat those who betray our efforts of self preservation as enemies also. It has become increasingly popular to blame societal ills on anger and claim that hate is always bad. On the contrary, in some situations, anger is necessary, hate is healthy.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Friday called U.S. President George W. Bush's defeat in congressional elections a victory for Iran.

The swine media is mostly responsible but the colossal ignorance of the American people and their refusal to pay attention to anything other than American Idol has taken us to the verge. I've been saying all along that the vast unclean in this country have had it so easy for so long that they just will not understand the threat against our livlihood until our enemy detonates a nuke in one of our cities. After this election, I can almost say that I welcome it. We deserve it.

Congratulations America... You've handed our legislative branch to a bunch of coward socialists who will tax you poor, take away your guns, invent gay marriage, use your tax dollars to help young girls vacuum babies from their wombs, and disgrace our military and our brave veterans that made the ultimate sacrifice so that you could continue to go to the polls and surrender your freedoms. Best of luck to ya...

It's time to lock and load friends. I'll be ready for the worst. While the democrats are gleefully sticking their heads in a noose, I'll be rallying around the family with a pocket full of shells. I won't forget, I won't forgive, and I won't listen.

Nancy Pelosi’s Hypocrisy

I listened to Pigface Pelosi squeal on the news yesterday about pledging to return decency and morality to Washington politics. True to form for Democrats, being completely hypocritical, she should look into a mirror before making such a worthless and empty "pledge." It has been reported that our noble and righteous Speaker-of-the-House-in-Waiting has a skeleton or two in her closet. Among the rattling bones, you will find her business dealings concerning the building and ownership of a very elegant and prestigious golf club in, where else, California called Corde Valle Golf Club and Resort in San Martin, Calif. Pelosi has also demonstrated hypocrisy on the environment. "With us," she proclaims, "the environment is not an issue – it's an ethic. It's a value." That's what she says. Schweizer exposed what she does: One of her largest investments is a private partnership called Lions Gate Limited, which operates the Corde Valle Golf Club and Resort. To gain approval for construction of this palatial enterprise, where it is possible to get a massage while slapping a golf ball around, it was agreed with the county planners that the golf club would grant access to the general public. This was agreed to by Pigface and her fellow crones and the place was constructed. After completion, it was discovered that the public was not going to be allowed to rub elbows with Nancy and her ilk, and the club was opened as a private club. Now, to make matters worse, the county planners also discovered that numerous environmental laws were "forgotten" while construction was done, and there were no plans to rectify the situation. The environmental laws were ignored for one very obvious reason...the added cost of construction would be enormous. Herein lies the typical hypocrisy of the Liberal Democrats of America. These same people, as hallmarked by the righteous and upright Ms. Nancy Pelosi, pass legislation every day concerning average Americans and their right to build on their own property. Environmental issues stop people every day, and add millions of dollars annually to construction costs for everyone. But not for ol' Nancy, oh, NO. She, after all, is a powerful Liberal Representative of the People of the Socialist State of California, and typically of Socialist dictators, they are exempt from the laws they impose on everyone else. Not to mention the small matter that she leads the way for Liberals and all tree-huggers in her staunch stand against such cruel and destructive actions such as drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico or the Arctic reaches of North Alaska. You and I can pay outrageous fuel prices because Pigface won't allow the U.S. to become self-reliant on fuel, but such miseries are beneath her, so she just does as she likes. That is the sign of a true Socialist. So much for her "pledge" to return honesty and proper behavior to Washington. Democrats waste no time demanding Republicans to resign and face public castration for the slightest misdeed. Yet this glaring travesty will be ignored by the media and she will not be accountable for her sorry actions. I have already written to her demanding an accounting and for her resignation from the House of Representatives. I urge all Americans to do the same. Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent (thank you Jim Quinn) and this is a perfect example. But, that is just my opinion.

America “Speaks”

Last night was not a pleasant time for Conservative Americans. The feeding frenzy in Washington has begun with the removal of Don Rumsfeld as Secretary of Defense. Last week, he was a great hero and would be there until the end of time. Now, after the election, he becomes a goat and can't leave Washington fast enough. There is the knowledge that Nancy Pelosi will be Speaker of the House and Kooky Kusinich will be Chairman of the Armed Services Committee, and that sends chills up my spine. Kooky has absolutely no idea what the word "defense" means, and Pigface is a dedicated Socialist. Their goofy party has been put back in control of the House of Representatives, and now we have to let them run over us like a steamroller. I am of the opinion that this election will go into history as the worst election in American history. They have taken over the Senate also, and President Bush will become next to useless. My state of Pennsylvania now has a RINO Senator and a Liberal senator who doesn't have the brains God gave to granite. His name is Casey, and he is a raving moonbat. I hope that the real Conservatives in Washington, if there are any such things, have learned a lesson that you have to stick with your true values if you want to be credible in American politics. Already, our enemies overseas are dancing in victory and making claims that the defeat of America is at hand. We have shown them that Americans are weak-kneed people who have no stomach for fighting for what is right. The terrorists now know for a fact that they can beat us by just waiting for us to self-destruct. President Bush was blamed for going to war over oil. Now we are really going to have a fight over oil when the Arabs start beating us over the head with it because no one will stand up to them any longer. I believe we are going to suffer further terrorist attacks in the coming years because the Democrats will destroy the USA Patriot Act and force our security forces to become ultra politically correct. Any progress made over the past 5 years will be erased and we will be open to a bloodbath of American dead. Islam will be a protected terrorist organization, and they will become the same screaming bunch of lunatics that England is dealing with today. It is very likely that a nuclear weapon either will be smuggled into the U.S., or is already here. If this monstrosity is introduced inside our nation, it will be used. Make no mistake about that. At least one American city will be devastated, and our economy will go into the crapper. If you think I'm wrong, just remember Harry Ratface Reid was jumping around in glee over destroying the Patriot Act. That doesn't sound like someone who has my best interests at heart. The bottom line is the Liberals will have us by the short hairs, and we are in deep doodoo.

The Party of Compassion, Liberals or Conservatives?

Election Day will soon be over, and the American people will have chosen the party to lead our country. If you listen to the major media outlets, they predict the Liberal Loons will be in charge of our country. In celebration of their gaining control over my life, I thought I would speak briefly about the differences between Liberal compassion for the less fortunate and Conservative compassion, because Conservatives are frowned upon as hard-hearted people who have no compassion. There are two competing methods to show compassion in society today. In the first system, which I will call Conservative Compassion, individual "A" feels sorry for individual "B", "A" expends personal effort and personal wealth to improve the life of individual "B." This has long been known in the civilized world as "charity." Charity has long been associated with morality and individual people giving for the benefit of less fortunate people. The second form of compassion is Liberal Compassion. In this scenario, when "A" feels sorry for "B," "A" decides to tax "C" so that "B" can benefit from the revenue generated. While Liberal Compassion may sound a bit harsh and unfair, it does have a few obvious advantages over Conservative Compassion. The first advantage is "A" has been relieved from all personal commitment to the welfare (OOPS, I mean well-being) of "C." In other words, the old adage "actions speak louder than words" is proven to be wrong. There is no reason for personal involvement, all you need to do is speak condescendingly about "C." Also, it is far easier to spend someone else's money than to spend your own. It also allows you to appear to be compassionate without putting restraints on your lifestyle. Conservative Compassion, however, requires a certain amount of sacrifice on the individual, such as donating your time to help prepare a meal in the church's kitchen, or physically removing a ten dollar bill from your wallet to help someone get their gas turned back on. Liberals are relieved from such mundane actions. They just spend someone else's money and wait for the problem to go away, while wearing some stupid ribbon on their suit coat to make others "aware" of the dire situation. Personally, I don't know of one instance where a ribbon helped anyone solve anything. I think in order to decide which form of compassion is more likely to actually help someone, consider who is a better example of a "compassionate person," Mother Teresa or Edward Kennedy? I think you will agree with me that Mother Teresa is a somewhat more compassionate person, and therefore you may be more inclined to reject the liberal theory of compassion in favor of the Mother Teresa model. I'll try not to mention the fact that Kennedy also got away with cold-blooded murder. It is hard for me to equate the willingness to spend government taxes on aid programs with compassion. As an analogy, it would be ridiculous to equate a willingness to increase defense spending with bravery or increasing a school's budget to field a football team as proof of physical fitness. It is also possible for a fat, lazy couch potato to favor government spending for football teams in every high school. Logically, it would also be possible for a truly compassionate person to oppose government welfare programs. If you want to determine if a person is REALLY compassionate, don't bother to ask him who he voted for. That doesn't address the question at all. You should ask what charitable contributions he has made and whether he has done any volunteer work lately. There are several reasons why we need to favor private acts of charity over government enforced charity. First, government programs destroy Americans' spirit of charity. People tend to think that the government is taking care of the problem, and the taxes are awful, I don't need to pay any more, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! Secondly, private organizations distribute charity much more effectively at lower cost than government programs. That should be obvious. Thirdly, people are less likely to donate to people or organizations they feel are wasteful or have the wrong motives. This encourages thrift and accountability. This is sorely lacking in government welfare programs. I felt this article is necessary on Election Day, because if the Dems are boosted back in power, they will waste no time raiding your wallet to fund their stupid and wasteful social programs. Therefore, we opponents of governmental social programs will again be charged with a lack of compassion, at least as measured by Loony Liberals. Grab your gun, and meet me out front. Midterm Elections Tomorrow!

Tomorrow marks the day when Americans go to the polls to decide if we maintain a Republican majority in the House and the Senate, or if we stare disaster in the face and return Liberal Democrats to power in the United States. In the final analysis, the election, contrary to many pundits, is not about the meaning of Macaca or John Kerry's stupid remarks concerning the assessment of American soldier's IQ. The final issue which will be decided tomorrow will deal with our national security and if we will be able to avoid a devastating attack that could kill millions of Americans and wipe out our economy. The Democrats have pinned all their arguments on a couple of very minor issues, they being why Osama was not captured at Tora Bora, and beefing up port security while ignoring the entire boundary with Mexico. President Bush understands that in order to stop the next attack against us, we need to gather small bits of information from a great many sources to uncover a plot. Obtaining that clue requires giving both the FBI and the CIA the tools they need to penetrate terrorist organizations and use intercepted phone calls and email. It is crucial to know that during the Clinton years, the CIA's budget was cut by 18% after inflation allowances and reduced the number of covert agents by one quarter. These figures are perfect examples of how NOT to wage a war on terror. It is a well known fact that Clinton had little use for intelligence reports. After six months in office he quit his daily CIA briefings. Meanwhile, at the FBI under Louis Freeh, the Bureau became politically correct and agents trailing suspects were not allowed to follow them into mosques or develop leads on people who might be recruiting terrorists or building bombs. The CIA and the FBI failed to work together for the nation's welfare, and withheld intelligence information from each other. President Bush changed all that. To help the FBI stop terrorist plots, Bush proposed the USA Patriot Act, which Democrats are so gung ho to dismantle. Before the Patriot Act, the FBI and CIA were blocked from working together because of "the wall" which prevented cooperation. President Bush met with General Michael Hayden, director of the CIA, and asked his opinion on what tools were needed to fight the war on terror. Hayden suggested allowing the NSA to target calls and email if one end of the communication was overseas. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) required the NSA to obtain Justice Department authorization. By the time authorization was received, the intelligence was forever lost. The Patriot Act allowed the NSA to act quickly and decisively on information received from al Qaeda, which is contributing enormously to the safety and security of every American. It is also this same program that Ratface Reid crowed about killing. If the Democrats win the election tomorrow, they will gut the USA Patriot act, stop interception of calls from al Qaeda to and from the U.S., and end tracking terrorist financial transfers. They want to bestow legal rights on al Qaeda terrorists under interrogation, and cut off funds to support the war in Iraq, handing al Queda a victory in what the terrorists themselves describe as a crucial battleground in their effort to defeat America. Al Queda also intends to impose radical Islam on the entire world. Democrats intend to hand the world to them on a silver platter. I urge all Americans to watch the world news tomorrow night. If the Democrats are the victors in the election, and you see the Islamofascists dancing in the streets in celebration, remember that the people who voted for the Democrats are personally responsible for any terrorist attacks on America. People who vote for Democrats will have the blood of our slain countrymen on their hands, because they didn't learn from history that THE Democrat Party has been against their own country ever since the Democrat party came into existence. The Democrats whine that people should not question their patriotism just because they disagree. That's not true. People question their patriotism because they have no patriotism. They are traitors, and they need to be identified as such. Donald Rumsfeld had it right when he reminded us how appeasement resulted in the deaths of 300.000 Americans in World War II. The total killed worldwide came to 70 million people. War expenditure totaled 38% of America's GDP. The major threat to America today concerns smuggling a nuke inside our country and detonating it. Thanks to Democrats, that concern has become a real possibility. We need to go to the polls tomorrow and keep that from happening.

Earth in the Lurch...again

I remember the very first Earth Day, and how it was purported to become one of the most important annual events in the history of modern man. Earth Day would enlighten Americans and teach them to love and honor and cherish and adore and pray to Mother Earth, also known as Gaia, or some such stupid name. I don't remember it exactly...anyway, I remember going to a park in central New York called Highland Forest that first Earth Day with my wife. We went because we were curious to find out what this new holiday could be. It was a real party atmosphere! There were lumberjacks who were practicing ecology by teaching children that hurting a tree was a form of murder, women teaching children how to make candles because burning electricity was killing Mother Earth. There were pictures of nuclear power plants blasting steam into the atmosphere in abundance, just on the edge of catastrophic meltdown, and Greenpeace boats with brave crewmembers risking their lives blocking Japanese whaling ships from engaging in their murderous trade. But the thing I remember best is the lecturers warning us that if we didn't change our ways, the world would be out of petroleum products in 20 years, global warming would put New York City under 40 feet of water in 30 years, smog would smother us all in 25 years and other miserable ways in which we were all going to DIE!!! All this gloom and doom led to the demise of the American muscle car, and replaced it with ugly boxes from Japan that lasted about 2 years and gave us the phenomenal economy of 25 mpg. Earth Day also opened up the dangers of drilling for oil in the vast tundra regions of Alaska, and how the death of a single polar bear was the equivalent of one of our children dying. We flirted with disaster when it was discovered that the Spotted Owl was on the verge of extinction because the stupid Americans were killing off "old growth" forests in this country. Construction on a half-built hydroelectric power plant in the Southwest was brought to a halt when a small fish known as the "snail darter" was found living in the river, and that little fish was deemed infinitely more valuable than electrical power. An ozone hole was discovered over the Antarctic continent that allowed those pesky gamma rays into our lives that were going to fry us in our own juices. Acid rain caused by the burning of fossil fuels drenched the North East, causing our automobile's paint finish to be destroyed. In short, thanks to our own stupidity, and our greed, America's future was indeed bleak. The best years were behind us, as practiced by Mr. Peanut, Jimmy Carter, and soon we would be forced to rekindle our horsemanship because automobiles would be powerless for lack of oil and mushrooms would be our main dish because ozone depletion would kill off all animal life on earth. Every year, Americans are warned by "scientists" that we are on the verge of extinction because we are foolish enough to be killing the earth. Today's news is no brighter. I found this in a news report just this morning. This should tighten up the ol' sphincter a notch or two.

Oversight of commercial fishing must be strengthened or there may eventually be no more seafood. That's the conclusion of a report in today's Science journal that predicts 90% of the fish and shellfish species that are hauled from the ocean to feed people worldwide may be gone by 2048. Even now, 29% of those species have "collapsed," meaning a 90% decline in the amount being fished from the sea, said Boris Worm, lead author and a professor of marine conservation biology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. "It is a very clear trend, and it is accelerating," Worm said. The paper represents four years of work by an international team of researchers at various universities who analyzed ocean species diversity over the past 1,000 years. The team concludes that this trend can be reversed. "We need to implement sustainable fishing methods, create marine sanctuaries where species can replenish themselves and limit pollution from coastal areas," said Heike Lotze, a marine ecologist at Dalhousie University. "If the habitat is gone or the water's destroyed, the fish populations can't bounce back," she said. "We know how to do this. But it must be done soon," Worm said. "With each species that is lost, the opportunity for the system to repair itself is diminished." The findings are too pessimistic and not true of the USA, said Steve Murawski, chief scientist for the National Marine Fisheries Service, which oversees fishing regions in U.S. waters. Murawski said "aggressive fisheries management" is reducing the percentage of U.S. over fished species, which he estimated is now 20%. U.S. fishing regions represent about 10% of the world's catch. Worldwide, over fishing is a big part of the problem, the researchers said. "Every year it's estimated that human beings remove >>>*** 150 million metric tons ***<<< of life from the seas," said Joshua Reichert, environment-program director at Pew Charitable Trusts in Philadelphia. But fishing isn't the only problem, the report states. The destruction of coastal areas, estuaries and reefs by dredging, building and pollution destroys nursery habitats for young fish.

Did you comprehend the enormity of that figure? ONE HUNDRED FIFTY MILLION METRIC TONS OF LIFE. Now, I'm not a marine biologist nor am I a statistician. But that figure does seem to be a bit...LARGE. The point I am trying to make is this is typical Liberal gibberish. The earth was scheduled to end 20 years ago if you go by the dire warning issued at that very first Earth Day. And it never ends. The warnings from scientists always predicts the end of all life sometime within twenty to thirty years in the future. Now, why do you think they want to use a time frame of 20-30 years? I think it is because it is short enough to be dire, but long enough to be forgotten. Things don't really change over a 20 year period, but the average stupid American has a memory span of less than one per cent of that. Look at the war on terror, if you need proof! This relates to my last post about socialism in America and how the Democrats control us through our gullibility and fear. Socialism is a method of control, and Global Warming is a major weapon being wielded to enforce that control. It's the same thing with evolution. Evolution, to anyone with an ounce of intelligence, is the most ridiculous idea man ever invented. Monkeys did not turn into men, and dinosaurs did not turn into birds. There are no amphibians in the world with feather-like protrusions or are there any members of the cat family sprouting wings. It is all a matter of control of your mind, body and soul. The enemies of the United States, which includes members of the Democrat Party, want the United States to become servile to the rest of the world, and the tools to bring this about include global warming and evolution. If you do a little research or logical thinking about it, you will come to the same conclusion. In all the history of the world, there is something very special and different about American history. These differences have contributed greatly to our success. But these differences do not pass automatically from one generation to the next. They must be studied, understood and experienced by each succeeding generation if the U.S.of A. is to continue to be a free and successful nation. There are many things about our nation which sets us apart from the rest of the world, but some of the more important ones are respect for individual rights and property. (Presently under assault.) Another is our belief in a just and omnipotent God. (Presently under assault.) Another is our belief in the sanctity of life. (Presently under assault.) How about a deep desire for high moral standards and respect for the family? (Presently under assault.) There is the commitment to befriend the downtrodden and spread the idea of freedom throughout the world. (Presently under assault.) The idea that education and knowledge is a basic foundation for our children's future. (Presently under assault.) Marriage is sacred and a trust between a man and a woman. (Presently under assault.) Homosexuality is an abomination to God and has been outlawed by civilized humanity for thousands of years. (Presently under assault.) This is getting very long. I think you get the idea. These are issues to be pondered deeply by anyone who is concerned about the future of our country. This is more than my opinion, it is how we are having our nation stolen from us.

Trivial thought...

I got to thinking about all the complaints about "big oil" and the horrific profits they make. I did some checking. The next time you hear a Democrat whine about oil profits, point out this interesting fact to the dummy. The Federal Government, which operates the U.S. Postal System, charges more to deliver a one-ounce letter across the street than the oil companies charge to deliver 4 pounds of oil from the Persian Gulf to our Eastern Seaboard - halfway around the world!!!

Economics 101: Socialism or Capitalism?

I have labeled Democrats numerous times in my articles as Socialists. I wonder how many people really understand the differences between the different economic systems? The following examples may be instructive to the readers:

SOCIALISM: You have two cows but the government orders you to give one to your lazy neighbor. This also describes Democrats and their stupid social programs in America.
COMMUNISM: You have two cows but the government takes both and gives you one quarter of the milk.
FASCISM: You have two cows but the government takes both and sells you the milk.
NAZISM: You have two cows but the government takes both and shoots you.
CAPITALISM: You have two cows but you sell one and buy a bull.

The first four systems have a lot in common. Each system, as the description suggests, keeps the individual in subjection to the government. It is only under "capitalism" that the individual is encouraged to develop his own growth plan, and to be the master of his own destiny. In theory, only two distinct systems of economics exist. It is either Socialism or Capitalism. Either a man is free to decide his future, or the government dictates his future for him. Any attempt to combine these two systems does not create a new system. In capitalism, the most outstanding characteristic is the concept of "private property." In the old Soviet Union, where the concept of private property was condemned, the state was forced to protect a citizen from a thief who would steal his bread. In the capitalist system the citizen is allowed to own and control the factory that makes the bread. Under capitalism, the factory, land, offices and everything associated with the bread is privately owned, and the owner can dispose of or use the property as he sees fit. This system of limited government, or capitalism, is what America's Founding Fathers had in mind when they produced the Constitution in 1787. They had just thrown off the yoke of British tyranny, and they wanted the people in the new nation to be free of government oversight. They had faith in the individual and what the individual could accomplish. Socialism, however, with its long history, is a system of oppression and failure. It is a system operated by the few and whose commands the people must obey. The government owns title to the tools of production, the factories, the farms, the businesses, the newspapers, and all but the most simple of things. There is but one employer, one producer, one "master." The Communist countries most closely approximate this form. Another form is seemingly less radical. Government dominance, though overwhelming, does not take the form of outright ownership. Legal title to ownership is left in private hands through stock purchases. But the managers of the enterprise take their orders from government officials. Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy practiced this variant of socialism. Private ownership, at least on paper, was left to the individual, but officials of Hitler and Mussolini told the owners what to do, when to do it and what to charge for it. The state had the power to eliminate anyone who did not "fit in." It is a crude form of this last form of socialism which has crept into the United States, but we don't refer to it as "Nazism" or "fascism." No, we have a new name for it. We call it the "Welfare State." The American government has not gone the way of confiscation or nationalization of industry, but has steadily extended its power and authority over every aspect of "personal property" of every American. The recent Supreme Court decision allowing the confiscation of private property in order to build revenue generating developments is the latest facet of American Socialism. And, we all need to remember, this Socialism is brought to us by the Democrat Party. The Democrats are the ones who demand to set minimum wages, set limits on personal income through taxation, and regulate productivity through trade agreements with foreign nations. The Democrats regulate marketing through the Justice Department, the Labor Department, and the Federal Trade Commission. "Labor Guidelines" heavily influence both the cost of labor and the price of products. It establishes employment conditions through the National Labor Relations Board, civil rights laws, and legislation such as the length of the work day. It decides what companies will go boom or go bust through the Small Business Administration and defense contracts. Our benevolent Overseer operates a number of socialized enterprises such as power plants, shipyards and fertilizer plants. It subsidizes agriculture, the airlines and the Merchant Marine. The Federal Reserve regulates our money and dictates its worth and buying power. It is illegal to own gold. We cannot carry weapons or ever carry a pocket knife. As I see it, the choice is an easy one. It is a choice between a moral and just society or and immoral one, between prosperity or poverty, between capitalism or socialism. The Democrats are the party of Socialism, and I will fight them to my last breath. They are undermining our country, limiting the potential of the American people, and are determined to be the dominant and elite power in this country. They want power and leverage over you, and if you vote for Democrats, you are voting for enslavement. You need to remember that the next time you stand in front of a voting machine. But, that is just my opinion.

The Brutality of War

General Sherman, illustrious victor in the American Civil War, characterized war. "War is hell," he said. Not very poetic, but descriptive. Most people would agree with General Sherman in his assessment. However, war is sometimes very necessary because the alternative is much worse. Contrary to what most "professors" in American universities teach today, every war America has engaged in has been necessary. Iraq is not any different. What is different is America's perception of what war is and why it is sometimes necessary to engage in it. Somehow, Americans have come to think of war as some sort of spectator sport where people don't really die. It's like those stupid action movies that play on TV every night. Some goon starts spraying machine gun bullets all over creation and the good guy jumps around with a little pistol and sparks fly wherever a "bullet" hits. The Good Guy manages to evade thousands of bullets from a machine gun, but is able to down the villain with a single, well-placed round. The good guy wins and the bad guy glares sullenly into the camera as he's hauled off to jail. We have this crazy idea that war is supposed to be "fair" and "equal" and if the bad guy shoots back and kills us, well, that's not fair, boo hoo, we don't want to play any longer, and we're going to take our weapons and go home. Stupid Americans, that's what happens when you try to fight a politically correct war. We dress up for war in our neat looking high tech uniforms, we brandish the latest and most lethal firearms in the world. Our soldiers ride in multi-million dollar tanks and fly aircraft worth more than their weight in gold. American ingenuity has created smart weapons that can travel half way around the world and pick the right window to explode into. Our submarines can launch intercontinental ballistic missiles from under the Arctic ice. We have spy satellites that can count the fleas on Castro's dog. In other words, we have such a huge military advantage over the rest of the world that we should be able to tell Achmadidiot and Kim Jong Makesmeill that they better do what they're told or they'll be dead before nightfall. Instead, we have to be nice to them, or the rest of the world won't like us and they'll accuse us of being a bully. So, we rise up in righteous anger when cowards fly airplanes into our buildings and kill 3000 of us and proclaim that they will be brought to justice for their crimes. We commit thousands of our brave soldiers to armed conflict in far off countries, we provide them with lethal weapons, we invite the news media to join them in their maneuvers, we report our progress to the entire world and we watch as our soldiers are killed by roadside bombs and enemy fire. This happens because we don’t have the balls to actually inflict death and destruction on our enemies. We don’t put the “hell” in “war” on THEIR fighters. Our leaders squabble in Congress and point fingers at each other and do more damage to our country than the terrorists accomplished by flying aircraft into our buildings. The world watches as we devour ourselves in partisan politics and we can't decide if we are a capitalist society or a socialist society. Our enemies watch and laugh as we inflict more harm upon ourselves than we do on the terrorists. We spew lies and accusations and refuse to treat our enemies with equal anger. We tell our citizens they are religious zealots and fanatics because they have the audacity to put their faith in Jesus Christ, but refuse to blast a mosque full of terrorists because it might anger the Religion of Peace nuts. Our nation is being split in half because we have forgotten that Socialism as practiced by the Democrats has been identified as the enemy of the real America. Teddy Roosevelt once made a provocative statement that one time meant something. He said, "Speak softly but carry a big stick." That's a little more poetic than General Sherman's statement, but equally compelling. I'm all for carrying a big stick, but I'm even more in favor of actually USING it. Kim Jong Makesmeill and Achmadidiot are the biggest threats to world peace since Adolph Hitler, and like Hitler, everyone is afraid to make them mad because they might hurt us. President Reagan had his Achmadidiot during his presidency. That particular lunatic went by the name of Kadafi, Moamar Kadafi, from the African state of Libya. President Kadafi raised the same type of crap Achmadidiot is producing today, and he threatened to kill Americans. He raised a whole heap of problems for President Reagan until the President sent in a few bombers at night and dropped a few bombs on ol' Kadafi's compound. The bombing killed a couple members of Kadafi's family and a few other people. The raid was a complete success. Ol' Kadafi learned a hard lesson...don't mess with the U.S. of A. He dropped into insignificance, and the problems with that part of the world came to an abrupt halt. Kadafi, who had become a household name, was not heard from again. He figured the next bomb might have his name on it, and he shut his rather large mouth. Mr. Reagan got it right. If you have a world-class bully, you drop his butt hard. But, that’s just my opinion.

Senator Kerry Runs Off At the Mouth Again

Kooky Kerry again proves to every thinking American why he needs to be tried for treason and eliminated from the American landscape. Speaking before a bunch of college kids, he claims that if you don't do well in college, you will end up in Iraq, again slurring every American who is risking their life to give this jackass the right to act like a jackass. As a veteran of Viet Nam, and the father of an Iraq War veteran, I am outraged by the remarks. It should be obvious to anyone who has an ounce of intelligence that the likes of John Kerry is nothing but a national embarrassment. He is nothing but chump change, and has no value whatsoever to our national well-being. This embarrassment has done nothing but malign the military and undercut our security for over 40 years. I have a picture of Jackass John making a speech while standing in front of a North Vietnamese flag. That picture says everything you need to know about him. He needs to account for his traitorous and malicious remarks, and any Democrat running for national office in this election should be made to either endorse or disavow affiliation to John Kerry. I make that claim because John Kerry was the Democrat candidate for President of the United States and therefore the standard bearer for the party. Therefore, every Democrat running for national office should publicly state their relationship to this chump.
